COVID-19: Rawlings closes office over COVID-19 concern

Former President, Jerry John Rawlings office has shut down over Covid-19 fear.

“The closure is due to the unfortunate spread of the Covid-19 virus.” A statement issued by Communications Directorate of Rawling’s Office disclosed.

“The decision which is aimed at protecting staff and potential visitors will be reviewed after two weeks.”

In the statement, the former president urges “all Ghanaians to be mindful of their discipline and care as we work to combat the disease. He calls to wear their facemask”
