Ghana Police Service makes Changes in Command Positions.

The Ghana police services have made changes in their command position.

The police service made the announcement on their social media page on 17th July 2020. 

“Changes have been made in the positions of the Police Management Board and some regional commanders,” they posted.

Below are the changes made:

  1. COP Mr Nathan Kofi Boakye is now the Director-General for Legal and Prosecutions.
  2. COP Mr Paul Manly Awini is now the Director-General for Research, Planning and Transformation.
  3. DCOP Mr Johnson Oyirifi-Akrofi is now the Eastern Police Regional Commander.
  4. DCOP Mr Frederick Adu-Anim is now the Director-General for Information, Communication Technology (ICT).
  5. DCOP Mr Paul Ayittey is now the North East Police Regional Commander.
  6. DCOP Barima Tweneboah Sasraku II is now the Tema Police Regional Commander.
  7. DCOP Mr Afful Boakye-Yiadom is now the Accra Police Regional Commander.
  8. DCOP Mr Charles Domanban is now Oti Police Regional Commander.
  9. DCOP Mrs Habiba Akyere Twumasi -Sarpong is now the Central Police Regional Commander.
