His Excellency, Nana Akuffo Addo says the oath he swore on the day of his inauguration was to protect Ghanaians.
The President says it is his duty to protect Ghanaian and he is determined to do that.
“Fellow Ghanaians, the oath of office i swore on 7th January 2017 demands that i dedicate myself to the service and wellbeing of you the Ghanaian people.
It is my job to protect you and I’m determined to do just that. As i have said before, all that government is doing is intended to achieve five (5) key objectives.
- Limit or stop the importation of the virus.
- Contain it’s spread.
- Provide adequate care for the sick.
- Limit the impact of the virus on the social and economic life.
- Inspire the expansion of our domestic capabilities in deepening our self-reliance.
May God bless us all and our homeland Ghana and make us great and strong,” he assured Ghanaians.
