John Dramani Mahama

Former President and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama says he will build a just and equal society- A Ghana that creates opportunities for all when voted into power.

Addressing the people of Bole, after the Cheif of Truth title was conferred on him by the Bole Wuraa, the Chief of Bole, he said he hopes for a peaceful election come December 2020.

He further noted that we lived as a peaceful and united country, unfortunately recently soldiers and other security forces are being used to disenfranchise and intimidating people, asking people if they are Ghanaians.

“This is not the Ghana we know. By the grace of the almighty God, NDC is coming back into office” he added.

John Mahama says NDC is coming back to make sure that Ghana remains peaceful and united. He said every person who is a citizen will be considered a citizen of Ghana.

“No group will be considered more citizen than others. Everybody is a citizen and has equal rights,” he added.

Mahama further stated that people are suffering under Akuffo Addo’s administration; people are losing their jobs, businesses are collapsing, the president is unable to protect the citizen against the COVID-19, and the economy is in shambles.

“NDC is coming back to correct all those things. We are coming back with a programme of free primary healthcare plan. We are coming out with a plan to create One million (1,000,000) jobs in Four (4) years, Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand (250,000) jobs each year.

We will restore this economy and make sure that everybody enjoys the opportunities of the economy and not just a small family of a selected few people,” he concluded.
