NDCs call for debate is unnecessary – Osei Frimpong

Hon John Osei Frimpong, NPP Member of Parliament for New Abirem Constituency

Hon John Osei Frimpong, NPP Member of Parliament for New Abirem Constituency, Eastern Region in an interview on Okay FM says he doesn’t see John Dramani Mahama’s call for debate as necessary.

He added that “you don’t allow people to dictate for you in this life. Maybe you are done with stage one going to stage two, you don’t allow the person at stage one drag you back, that’s not how it works.”

“If the NPP happens to meet NDC on media platforms like Peace Fm, Okay FM, Joy Fm etc, then we will debate there, but with the call of debate, that’s unnecessary.’

“We have outlined what we’ve done if the NDC has any issue with it, they can come out and point out the specific places they think were untrue,” he stated.

Hon Frimpong added that this years election is going to be different because both candidates have governed the Country. “If you think you have released something we want to come back and do, then it depends on Ghanaians to vote you back, but Ghanaians have already decided that our economy is not meant for an experiment,” he added.

“Akufo-Addo has serve Ghanaians well with many infrastructures and interventions to help lessen the burden of Ghanaians, like free water, free ECG and the likes,” he stated.
